The Knights of Columbus Insurance moved way up to number 909 on Fortune magazine’s released in 2013 ranking of America’s top 1,000 companies.
 
In the year 2012, Fortune’s list graded the Knights of Columbus Carl Anderson at 912 in total revenues among the nation’s top rated companies. Over the past six years, the Knights of Columbus insurance has climbed 56 spots on the list - up from 965 in 2007.
 
The Carl Anderson knights of Columbus does comprehensive charitable work worldwide, and operates as a fraternal benefit society providing protection to its members along with their families through high quality life insurance, annuities, disability income insurance and long-term care insurance. The Knights of Columbus has earned the highest possible rating from A.M. Best (A++ Superior) for the past 37 consecutive years. In addition, no insurer in North America is more highly rated.
 
The Knights of Columbus has approximately $90 billion of life insurance in force - even more than two times the amount of insurance in force when Carl Anderson was chose Supreme Knight plus Chief executive officer in the year 2000. The organization also has nearly $20 billion in assets under management.
